Advisory Board

Our Advisory Board assembles twice a year for our Fall and Spring banquets. During this time our business advisors meet with the program teachers to spend time in the classrooms and labs for discussion and review of specific programs.

Advisory Boards are very important to iTECH because members provide career-specific knowledge and real-world recommendations that help us prepare our students with up-to-date skills within each career field.  Attitudes and habits required for success in the field are also discussed and deliberately planned for within the curriculum to further enable student success beyond graduation. We appreciate each and every Advisory Board Member for generously sharing valuable time and expertise which directly benefit the students of Immokalee Technical College.

Business Partnership

All programs have active business partners who serve as foundations for curriculum support, financial assistance, and activities that connect school to work through internships and job shadowing opportunities. In addition, partners serve as professional speakers for programs and many offer permanent job placement for graduates.
