Program Overview
Learn professional applications for many programs, including Adobe, digital video editing, and more. Hands-on projects in web design and audio-video engineering will provide essential skills in working in a broad range of media.
The Digital Media/ Multimedia Design program offers a sequence of courses that provides coherent and rigorous content aligned with challenging academic standards and relevant technical knowledge and skills needed to prepare for further education and careers in the Arts, A/V Technology and Communication career cluster. Students will learn professional applications for many programs, including Adobe and digital video editing.
The Digital Media/Multimedia Design program focuses on the principles and elements of creative visual design and the promotional marketing advertisement of a business brand. Students will create stunning multimedia presentations highlighting their own unique brand in a portfolio collection. The portfolio will display the student’s logo brand in a variety of projects which include print design, web design, videography, motion graphics and animation, audio recording and editing, and traditional and social media marketing.

What You'll Learn
Students will work with a broad range of media tools including Adobe digital design software and industry level studio equipment to produce conceptual, technical, and professional presentations of their brand. Students will understand freelance design and how to market their products and services through their own professional website. Students will gain industry knowledge and achieve industry level Adobe certifications.
PORTFOLIO AND COURSE PROJECTS
Digital Media/Multimedia Design students will prepare an online and printed portfolio highlighting a variety of multimedia projects of the skills they learned, in order to prepare them for a challenging career, and a showcase of certifications earned. Portfolios will include Print, Video, Motion Graphics and Web projects. Students also create a professional resume and letter of application.
There are a variety of projects within the four Occupational Completion Points. Students will need to complete all of the projects in order to satisfy the curriculum requirements for this course.

Adobe Creative Cloud
Students in Digital Media/Multimedia Design program will use professional Adobe digital design software.

Learn to use industry professional DSLR cameras.

21-Inch Interactive Pen Display PC Tablet With Pen and Software is one of many tools we have to offer in our program.
Adobe Certified Associate – ACA
ACA is an entry level certification. We offer prep and exams for ACA in Adobe Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Premiere Pro and InDesign. Students take exams at iTECH College testing lab.
Adobe Certified Expert – ACE
ACE is the expert level. We offer ACE prep and exams for Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign and Adobe Premiere Pro.

PREP FOR EMPLOYMENT
This program offers a broad foundation of knowledge and skills to prepare students for employment in digital media, new media, and multimedia positions. The content includes practical experiences in Web page design, interactive presentation development, testing and production. Specialized skills in multimedia presentations such as video editing, audio features, and simple animation and authoring software are taught and used to produce a variety of interactive multimedia presentations. We teach the useful skills that employers are looking for.
- Internships
Various professional studios are partners with iTECH’s Digital Media/Multimedia Design program and provide excellent internship opportunities for our students.
- Workforce Education Internship Program
Students participate in work-based learning experiences in their field of study outside of the classroom. ITECH has a Workforce Internship Program for those students who need work experience, but do not have an out-of-school job.
- Job Placement
Our competent counseling staff provides job postings on a daily basis, with help in resume writing and the interviewing process.
CERTIFICATE
A certificate is awarded to students who successfully complete the program’s competencies and satisfy basic skill requirements in accordance with state guidelines. Students will also have the opportunity to test and earn additional industry and national credentials through the training program.
